The Castaneda family migrated from Puebla, Mexico in1982 to Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. They spent the first 20 years working and managing in the local Mushroom industry. In 2010 husband and wife, Cristobal and Mariana, started the family business of Taste of Puebla. It is their goal to support their family while also bringing their Mexican food and traditions to the local community.
